Clinical trials: Neurocardiogenic Syncope
Autonomic Nervous System Diseases
PET Scan in Patients With Neurocardiologic Disorders
This study is designed to use PET scans in order to measure activity of the sympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system is the portion of the nervous system that maintains a normal supply of blood and fuel to…

Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Pseudopheochromocytoma
Clinical Autonomic Disorders: A Training Protocol
Background: The autonomic nervous system helps control things that happen automatically in the body, like blood pressure, heart rate, and digestion. When it doesn t work properly, it s called dysautonomia.
- Conditions
- Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Pseudopheochromocytoma, Healthy Volunteers, Neurocardiogenic Syncope
- Trial name
- NCT02154009
- Where
- United States
- Volunteers
- 21 people
- Sponsor

Syncope
Evaluation of Chronic Orthostatic Intolerance
This study will conduct tests with patients with primary chronic orthostatic intolerance (COI) to learn more about this disorder of the autonomic nervous system.
- Trial name
- NCT00069693
- Where
- 3 sites in United States, Canada
- Volunteers
- 200 people, healthy volunteers welcome

Tilt Table With Suspected Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) Subjects
Dysautonomia, primarily defined as postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) can seriously disrupt a child's daily activities. It is most commonly associated with nausea or abdominal pain.

Dysautonomia
MRI to Assess the Effects of Dysautonomia and Chronic Nausea on Brain Transmitters
The purpose of this research study is to better understand what causes dysautonomia and how this affects blood pressure and pulse. Dysautonomia is a condition of the autonomic nervous system.
