Clinical trials: Acute Cellular Graft Rejection
Lung Transplant Rejection
Cell-free DNA as a Biomarker After Lung Transplantation
The purpose of this investigation is to determine the association of the fraction of donor-derived cell-free DNA in plasma and lung fluid samples with acute rejection as proven by biopsy in lung transplant recipients.
- Trial name
- NCT04271267
- Testing
- No Intervention
- Volunteers
- 126 people
- Sponsor
- Duke University
Acute Graft Rejection, Chronic Allograft Nephropathy
Study Cyclosporine (CsA) Versus Tacrolimus (Tacro) After Campath Induction in Kidney Transplantation
After alemtuzumab induction, followed with kidney transplantation, patients will be randomly assigned to receive either tacrolimus or cyclosporine microemulsion in combination with mycophenolates.
- Conditions
- Acute Graft Rejection, Chronic Allograft Nephropathy, Polyomavirus-related Transplant Nephropathy
- Trial name

Lung Transplant Rejection
Developing Hyperpolarized Gas MRI Signatures to Detect and Manage Acute Cellular Rejection
Lung transplantation (LT) is the only definitive therapy for many patients with end-stage lung diseases. The supply of donors' lungs is the biggest bottleneck to performing a lung transplant, and many patients die while waiting.
- Trial name
- NCT07046910
- Testing
- Sub study (Active): Two Lung MRI study with two navigational Bronchoscopy, Hyperpolarized Xenon129
- Where
- United States
- Volunteers
- 60 people
- Sponsor
- University of Virginia
Acute Graft Rejection, Heart Transplantation
Detection of Acute Graft Rejection in Heart Transplant Patients by Estimation of T2
The investigators propose a simple and non-invasive method to monitor heart transplant patients with MRI. Its diagnostic and prognostic values have already been assessed in two monocentric studies.
- Trial name
- DRAGET (NCT02261870)
- Testing
- MRI T2 quantification
- Where
- 10 sites in France
- Volunteers
- 116 people
- Sponsor
- Central Hospital, Nancy, France
Delayed Graft Function, Acute Graft Rejection
Comparison of Sirolimus and Azathioprine in Lung Transplantation
The purpose of this study is to compare the safety and effectiveness of two different anti-rejection drug regimens.
- Trial name
- NCT00321906
- Testing
- azathioprine, sirolimus
- Where
- United States
- Volunteers
- 181 people
- Sponsor
- University of Chicago
End Stage Renal Disease, Renal Transplant
Evaluating Safety and Efficacy of TOL101 Induction Versus Anti-Thymocyte Globulin to Prevent Kidney Transplant Rejection
Induction therapy with antibodies is administered during transplant surgery and for a short period of time following transplant surgery in an effort to render the immune system less able to mount an initial rejection response.
- Trial name
- NCT01154387
- Testing
- Anti-Thymocyte Globulin, TOL101, Steroids
- Where
- 12 sites in United States
- Volunteers
- 85 people
- Sponsor
- Tolera Therapeutics, Inc
Graft Rejection
Randomized Trial for Mixed Acute Rejection
This study is being conducted to determine how safe and effective using an immune cell (b cell) depleting therapy and/or Thymoglobulin is in patients with a kidney transplant who are experiencing certain types of rejection.
- Trial name
- NCT00771875
- Testing
- Rabbit Antithymocyte Globulin (RATG), Rituximab, Bortezomib
- Where
- 2 sites in United States
- Volunteers
- 30 people
- Sponsor
- University of Cincinnati
Acute Graft Rejection, Diabetes
A Pilot Study Comparing the Use of Low-target Versus Conventional Target Advagraf
While the incidence of acute rejection and early graft loss have improved dramatically with the advent of newer immunosuppressant medications, improvements in long-term patient and allograft survival after kidney transplantation…
- Trial name
- Astellas (NCT01265537)
- Testing
- Tacrolimus
