Clinical trials: SEDLine
Epileptic Encephalopathy, Early Infantile Epileptic Encephalopathy
IBIS - Investigating Reliability of BIS and SEDLINE Monitoring in Children With Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathies (DEE).
When children have surgery, anaesthetists carefully monitor the depth of anaesthesia by using sensors on the forehead that measure brain activity, also known as processed electroencephalogram (pEEG).
- Conditions
- Epileptic Encephalopathy, Early Infantile Epileptic Encephalopathy, Infantile Spasm, Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathies
- Trial name
- IBIS (NCT07585643)
- Testing
- Monitoring of patients using electroencephalogram, a Bispectral Index (BIS) and Sedline monitors.
- Where
- 2 sites in Australia, Brazil
- Volunteers
- 40 people

Sedation Complication
Validation of a Processed EEG Device for Monitoring Sedation in PICU
The goal of this prospective observational study is to validate pEEG as a monitoring tool for the analgosedation level in mechanically-ventilated critically ill children, receiving or not-receiving NMBAs.
- Trial name
- NCT05969483

Transient Ischemic Attack, Acute Stroke
the Research of the Cerebral Protection Effects of Electroencephalogram (SedLine) During Carotid Endarterectomy
Fragile brain is the most common phenomenon seen in the patients undergoing CEA. The patients with fragile brain have a high incidence of postoperative brain dysfunction.
- Conditions
- Transient Ischemic Attack, Acute Stroke, Postoperative Delirium, Postoperative Cognitive Dysfunction
- Trial name
- NCT03622515
- Testing
- Anesthesia level and cerebral perfusion pressure
- Where
- 2 sites in China
- Volunteers
- 220 people
