About this study

Official title: A Multicenter, Open-Label, Phase 1a/b First-in-Human Study to Investigate the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Preliminary Antitumor Activity of BON-C1393 in Patients With Selected Advanced Solid Tumors

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and preliminary antitumor activity of BON-C1393 monotherapy or in combination with other anticancer regimens in adults with selected advanced solid tumors. The study will consist of Phase 1a (Dose Escalation and Dose Exploration) and Phase 1b (Dose Expansion).

Read the detailed description

Advanced solid tumors are malignant cancers that develop in organs of the body. They spread to other parts of the body and may reoccur after treatment, or no longer respond to available therapies or surgery. Many people with advanced solid tumors have limited treatment options, and their cancer may continue to grow or spread. Therefore, there is an ongoing need to develop novel therapies that may improve tumor control and prolong survival.

BON-C1393 is a targeted cancer medicine called an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC). An ADC consists of an antibody linked to a drug that can kill cancer cells. The antibody part of BON-C1393 attaches to proteins that are found on the surface of cancer cells. After it attaches to these proteins, BON-C1393 enters the cancer cell where the drug causes DNA damage and cell death.

The purpose of this study is to test whether BON-C1393 is safe and if it can help treat adults with selected advanced solid tumors.

This study consists of 2 parts, one called dose escalation and dose exploration (Phase 1a) and one called dose expansion (Phase 1b). During the dose escalation and dose exploration part, the study doctors will test different doses of the study drug to find the recommended dose that people can take without having serious side effects.

During the dose expansion part, the study doctors will test the study drug in a larger number of people using the doses identified from Phase 1a. The study will enroll adults with advanced solid tumors at multiple centers in the Asia-Pacific region.

The overall time to participate in this study is approximately 9 months for Phase 1a and approximately 12 months for Phase 1b. Participants will make regular visits to the clinic for treatment, health checks, blood tests, and tumor and imaging tests.

Questions about this trial

What is this clinical trial studying?

A Phase 1 study testing BON-C1393, Bevacizumab and Capecitabine in people with Solid Tumors and Advanced Solid Tumors, run by BeOne Medicines.

The full registered description is in the About this study section and the official record.

Who may be eligible to take part?

The sponsor lists 14 inclusion and 12 exclusion criteria. Eligibility is decided by the study team after screening, so read the full criteria and contact a listed site.

Is this clinical trial currently recruiting?

The record says: opening soon, as of the sponsor's last update on 29 Oct 2026. Status can change between updates, so confirm with the study contact before making plans.

What are the possible benefits and risks?

They depend on the study and the treatment, and no study can promise a benefit. The study team explains the known risks during informed consent, before anyone joins; the record itself does not list them.

What does this phase mean?

Phase 1 studies test a treatment in a small group of people for the first time or in a new way, mainly to check safety and find the right dose.

Not every study follows the same path, and some studies (observational studies, device studies) have no phase.

Are results available for this study?

This study is still under way. Results are not available in the source record yet.

How can a doctor refer a patient or contact the research team?

Contact Study Director (1.877.828.5568, clinicaltrials@beonemed.com), or a site near the patient. AzTrials does not enrol participants or take referrals.

What does the primary outcome measure?

Phase 1a: Number of Participants with Dose-Limiting Toxicities (DLTs) (time frame: Approximately 1 month). The study lists 3 primary outcomes in all. It is what the study was designed to measure, not a finding.

Where can I read the original study information?
Does a listing mean the treatment is approved or proven to work?

No. A listing means the study is registered. It does not show that the treatment is safe, works, or is approved by a regulator.

How often is this information updated?

AzTrials copies changed records from ClinicalTrials.gov every night and reloads the whole registry every week. The sponsor last updated this record on 29 Oct 2026.
