About this study

Official title: A Phase 1, Two-Part, First-in-Human, Randomized, Blinded, Placebo-Controlled, Single and Multiple Dose Trial to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, and Preliminary Efficacy of NOR-101 in Healthy Participants and Participants With Moderate-to-Severe Atopic Dermatitis.

This Phase 1 study will assess NOR-101, an investigational study drug, in two parts. Part 1 is a randomized, blinded study comparing single and multiple doses of NOR-101 with placebo in healthy adults. A placebo is a look-alike substance containing no active drug. Part 2 is an open-label, multiple-dose study in adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (eczema). All participants in Part 2 will receive NOR-101.

What is being measured

The primary outcome is the main question the study is designed to answer.

  1. Number of participants with adverse events

Number of participants with adverse events, including serious adverse events, summarized by severity and relationship to study intervention in Parts 1 and 2.

Measured: From informed consent through the end of the trial (EOT), up to approximately 29 months.

  2. Number of participants with clinically significant vital sign abnormalities

Number of participants with clinically significant vital sign abnormalities, as assessed by the investigator, in Parts 1 and 2.

Measured: Baseline through 12 months after the last dose (up to approximately 20 months).

  3. Number of participants with clinically significant electrocardiogram abnormalities

Number of participants with clinically significant abnormalities on 12-lead electrocardiograms, as assessed by the investigator, in Parts 1 and 2.

Measured: Baseline through 12 months after the last dose (up to approximately 20 months).

  4. Number of participants with clinically significant clinical laboratory abnormalities

Number of participants with clinically significant hematology, serum chemistry, coagulation or urinalysis abnormalities, as assessed by the investigator, in Parts 1 and 2.

Measured: Baseline through 12 months after the last dose (up to approximately 20 months).

Secondary outcomes (7)
  1. Maximum serum NOR-101 concentration (Cmax)

Maximum observed concentration in Part 1 and in Part 2.

Measured: First dose through up to approximately 20 months after the last dose (up to approximately 28 months).

  2. Area under the NOR-101 serum concentration-time curve (AUC)

AUC from dosing to the last quantifiable concentration after single dosing, and over the dosing interval after repeated dosing, in Part 1. AUC following multiple dosing in Part 2.

Measured: First dose through up to approximately 20 months after the last dose (up to approximately 28 months).

  3. NOR-101 terminal elimination half-life

Terminal half-life after single or repeated dosing in Part 1, where reliably estimable.

Measured: First dose through up to approximately 20 months after the last dose (up to approximately 28 months).

  4. Incidence of anti-NOR-101 antibodies

Participants with anti-drug antibodies in Parts 1 and 2.

Measured: First dose through up to approximately 20 months after the last dose (up to approximately 28 months).

  5. NOR-101 time to maximum serum concentration (Tmax)

Time to maximum observed serum concentration after single and repeated dosing in Part 1.

Measured: First dose through up to approximately 20 months after the last dose (up to approximately 28 months).

  6. NOR-101 apparent clearance (CL/F)

Apparent serum clearance after single and repeated dosing in Part 1, where reliably estimable.

Measured: First dose through up to approximately 20 months after the last dose (up to approximately 28 months).

  7. NOR-101 apparent volume of distribution (Vz/F)

Apparent volume of distribution during the terminal phase after single and repeated dosing in Part 1, where reliably estimable.

Measured: First dose through up to approximately 20 months after the last dose (up to approximately 28 months).

Questions about this trial

What is this clinical trial studying?

A Phase 1 study testing NOR-101 in people with Atopic Dermatitis (AD), run by North Immunology Inc. at 1 site in Australia.

The full registered description is in the About this study section and the official record.

Who may be eligible to take part?

The sponsor lists 5 inclusion and 4 exclusion criteria. Eligibility is decided by the study team after screening, so read the full criteria and contact a listed site.

Is this clinical trial currently recruiting?

The record says: opening soon, as of the sponsor's last update on 29 Oct 2026. Status can change between updates, so confirm with the study contact before making plans.

Where is the study taking place?

The record lists 1 site in Australia. Whether a site is taking part right now should be confirmed with that site. See every site.

What are the possible benefits and risks?

They depend on the study and the treatment, and no study can promise a benefit. Some participants in this study may receive a placebo. The study team explains the known risks during informed consent, before anyone joins; the record itself does not list them.

What does this phase mean?

Phase 1 studies test a treatment in a small group of people for the first time or in a new way, mainly to check safety and find the right dose.

Not every study follows the same path, and some studies (observational studies, device studies) have no phase.

Are results available for this study?

This study is still under way. Results are not available in the source record yet.

How can a doctor refer a patient or contact the research team?

Contact Ramei Sani-Grosso (484-686-0505, ramei@northimmunology.com), or a site near the patient. AzTrials does not enrol participants or take referrals.

What does the primary outcome measure?

Number of participants with adverse events (time frame: From informed consent through the end of the trial (EOT), up to approximately 29 months.). The study lists 4 primary outcomes in all. It is what the study was designed to measure, not a finding.

Where can I read the original study information?
Does a listing mean the treatment is approved or proven to work?

No. A listing means the study is registered. It does not show that the treatment is safe, works, or is approved by a regulator.

How often is this information updated?

AzTrials copies changed records from ClinicalTrials.gov every night and reloads the whole registry every week. The sponsor last updated this record on 29 Oct 2026.
