About this study

Official title: A Phase 2b, Single-arm, Open-label, Multicenter Study to Evaluate the Safety and Tolerability of G-CSF Dosage Reduction With Mavorixafor in Participants With Acquired Primary Autoimmune and Idiopathic Chronic Neutropenia Disorders

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of G-CSF dosage reduction with mavorixafor in participants with autoimmune neutropenia (AIN) and chronic idiopathic neutropenia (CIN) disorders as assessed by the ability to safely reduce G-CSF dosage with mavorixafor treatment while maintaining clinically acceptable absolute neutrophil count (ANC) levels.

Read the detailed description

All participants will be receiving chronic G-CSF background therapy and will continue this pre-study background therapy, defined as the participant's current treatment regimen.

Being tested
Mavorixafor
Keywords
G-CSF, Chronic neutropenia, Mavorixafor, X4P-001, Autoimmune neutropenia, Chronic idiopathic neutropenia

What participants receive

What is being measured

The primary outcome is the main question the study is designed to answer.

  1. Number of Participants With Treatment-emergent Adverse Events (TEAEs)

    Measured: Up to Week 56

  2. Percent Change in Average Daily G-CSF Dosage

Measured: Week 12 through Week 28 or 32

  3. Percentage of Participants Achieving G-CSF Cessation

    Measured: Week 28 or 32

  4. Percentage of Participants Achieving G-CSF Dosage Reduction ≥75%

    Measured: Week 28 or 32

Secondary outcomes (9)
  1. Percentage of Participants Achieving G-CSF Dosage Reduction by ≥ 25%/≥ 50%

Measured: Week 12 through Week 28 or 32

  2. Time to G-CSF Cessation

Measured: Week 4 through Week 28 or 32

  3. Time to G-CSF Dosage Reduction of ≥25% or ≥50% or ≥75

Measured: Week 4 through Week 28 or 32

  4. Change From Week 12 in Average Daily G-CSF Dosage at Week 28 or 32

    Measured: Week 12, Week 28 or 32

  5. Change From Week 12 in Average Daily G-CSF Frequency at Week 28 or 32

    Measured: Week 12, Week 28 or 32

  6. Change From Week 4 in Bone Pain up to Week 56, Assessed Using Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Short Form (PROMIS SF) Pain Intensity Scale Score (Participants Aged 12 to <18 Years)

Measured: Week 4, up to Week 56

  7. Change From Week 4 in Bone Pain up to Week 56, Assessed Using Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy (FACIT) Bone Pain Scale Score (Participants Aged ≥18 Years)

Measured: Week 4, up to Week 56

  8. Change From Week 4 in Fatigue up to Week 56, Assessed Using PROMIS SF Fatigue Scale Score (Participants Aged 12 to <18 Years)

Questions about this trial

What is this clinical trial studying?

A Phase 2 study testing Mavorixafor in people with Acquired Primary Autoimmune and Idiopathic Chronic Neutropenia Disorders and Chronic Neutropenia, run by X4 Pharmaceuticals.

The full registered description is in the About this study section and the official record.

Who may be eligible to take part?

The sponsor lists 3 inclusion and 9 exclusion criteria. Eligibility is decided by the study team after screening, so read the full criteria and contact a listed site.

Is this clinical trial currently recruiting?

The record says: opening soon, as of the sponsor's last update on 29 Oct 2026. Status can change between updates, so confirm with the study contact before making plans.

What are the possible benefits and risks?

They depend on the study and the treatment, and no study can promise a benefit. The study team explains the known risks during informed consent, before anyone joins; the record itself does not list them.

What does this phase mean?

Phase 2 studies give the treatment to a larger group to see whether it has the intended effect and to keep checking safety.

Not every study follows the same path, and some studies (observational studies, device studies) have no phase.

Are results available for this study?

This study is still under way. Results are not available in the source record yet.

How can a doctor refer a patient or contact the research team?

Contact Patient Affairs and Advocacy (857-529-5779, clinicaltrialinfo@x4pharma.com), or a site near the patient. AzTrials does not enrol participants or take referrals.

What does the primary outcome measure?

Number of Participants With Treatment-emergent Adverse Events (TEAEs) (time frame: Up to Week 56). The study lists 4 primary outcomes in all. It is what the study was designed to measure, not a finding.

Where can I read the original study information?
Does a listing mean the treatment is approved or proven to work?

No. A listing means the study is registered. It does not show that the treatment is safe, works, or is approved by a regulator.

How often is this information updated?

AzTrials copies changed records from ClinicalTrials.gov every night and reloads the whole registry every week. The sponsor last updated this record on 29 Oct 2026.
