Study population: The study population comprises individuals who underwent serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] measurement at multiple hospitals in Zhejiang Province in 2025. The population includes healthy individuals undergoing routine health checkups as well as patients with various chronic diseases (including chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases), spanning all age groups.
Who may be able to join
- Patients who completed serum 25(OH)D testing at participating hospitals in this study.
- Able to understand the study and voluntarily sign the electronic informed consent form via the mobile mini-program.
- Able to complete the electronic questionnaire independently or with assistance from family members.
Who cannot join

About this study
Official title: Cross-sectional Survey on Vitamin D Levels and Influencing Factors in the Population of Zhejiang Province Based on Multi-source Data Fusion
Vitamin D deficiency is a global public health problem, with an estimated 1 billion people affected worldwide, and large-scale systematic data for Zhejiang Province remain scarce. This is a multicenter, retrospective cross-sectional study. The objectives are to: (1) assess the distribution of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] levels across regions, seasons, and demographic groups in Zhejiang Province and estimate the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency (<20 ng/mL) and insufficiency (20-29 ng/mL); (2) identify and quantify key determinants of vitamin D status, including environmental exposures (ultraviolet radiation, green coverage), lifestyle (outdoor activity, sun protection), dietary vitamin D intake, and individual characteristics; and (3) provide scientific evidence for targeted intervention strategies, public health policy, and clinical guidelines in Zhejiang Province.

What is being measured
The primary outcome is the main question the study is designed to answer.
Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] concentration
Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] concentration, expressed in ng/mL. Measured from existing clinical laboratory results at each participating hospital.
