About this study

Official title: Clinical and Digital Outcomes of Silicate-Added β-TCP Putty and Extended Sticky Bone for Peri-Implant Jumping Gap Management Following Fully Guided Immediate Implant Placement in the Maxillary Esthetic Zone: A Randomized Clinical Trial

This randomized clinical trial compares three peri-implant jumping gap management approaches following fully guided immediate implant placement in the maxillary esthetic zone. Clinical and digital outcomes will be evaluated after immediate provisionalization and final restoration.

Read the detailed description

Seventy two patients will be randomly assigned to receive no graft, silicate-added β-TCP putty, or extended sticky bone for jumping gap management around immediately placed implants. A CAD/CAM provisional crown will be delivered immediately, and the final prosthesis will be placed after 3 months.

Being tested
No Grafting, Silicate-Added β-TCP Putty, Extended Sticky Bone
Keywords
Immediate implant placement, Fully guided surgery, Jumping gap management, Peri-implant defect, Silicate-added β-TCP putty, Extended sticky bone, Bone grafting, Maxillary esthetic zone, Immediate provisionalization, Clinical outcomes, Digital outcomes, Randomized clinical trial

What participants receive

What participants receive. In a randomised study each person is assigned to one group by chance.

  • No GraftingProcedure or surgery

The peri-implant jumping gap was managed without grafting.

  • Silicate-Added β-TCP PuttyProcedure or surgery

The peri-implant jumping gap was managed using silicate-added β-TCP putty.

  • Extended Sticky BoneProcedure or surgery

The peri-implant jumping gap was managed using extended sticky bone.

Receives: Procedure: No Grafting
Study Group 1 (Si-β-TCP Putty Group)ExperimentalFully guided immediate implant placement with a peri-implant jumping gap filled using silicate-added β-TCP putty and immediate CAD/CAM provisionalization.
Receives: Procedure: Silicate-Added β-TCP Putty
Study Group 2 (Extended Sticky Bone Group)ExperimentalFully guided immediate implant placement with a peri-implant jumping gap filled using extended sticky bone and immediate CAD/CAM provisionalization.

What is being measured

The primary outcome is the main question the study is designed to answer.

  1. Implant Stability

Implant stability will be evaluated using Osstell device based on resonance frequency analysis (ISQ values).

Measured: Immediate post-operative, 3 months, and 6 months.

  2. Hard Tissue (Peri-implant bone)

Marginal bone loss will be assessed using CBCT measured in mm.

Measured: - Immediately after implant placement - 6 months after implant placement.

Secondary outcomes (1)
  1. Soft Tissue

Soft tissue contour and peri-implant tissue condition will be assessed using digital intraoral scanning (STL files) using superimposition and modified sulcus bleeding index (mSBI).

Measured: Baseline, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months.

Questions about this trial

What is this clinical trial studying?

A study testing No Grafting, Silicate-Added β-TCP Putty and Extended Sticky Bone in people with Tooth Loss in the Esthetic Zone Requiring Immediate Implant Placement and Guided Immediate Implant Placement, run by Mansoura University at 1 site in Egypt.

The full registered description is in the About this study section and the official record.

Who may be eligible to take part?

The sponsor lists 6 inclusion and 7 exclusion criteria. Eligibility is decided by the study team after screening, so read the full criteria and contact a listed site.

Is this clinical trial currently recruiting?

The record says: finished, as of the sponsor's last update on 22 Sep 2026. Status can change between updates, so confirm with the study contact before making plans.

Where is the study taking place?

The record lists 1 site in Egypt. Whether a site is taking part right now should be confirmed with that site. See every site.

What are the possible benefits and risks?

They depend on the study and the treatment, and no study can promise a benefit. The study team explains the known risks during informed consent, before anyone joins; the record itself does not list them.

Are results available for this study?

The study is completed, but results are not available in the source record. That does not mean the treatment did or did not work.

How can a doctor refer a patient or contact the research team?

The record lists no contact. The official record names the sponsor, who can be asked directly. AzTrials does not enrol participants or take referrals.

What does the primary outcome measure?

Implant Stability (time frame: Immediate post-operative, 3 months, and 6 months.). The study lists 2 primary outcomes in all. It is what the study was designed to measure, not a finding.

Where can I read the original study information?
Does a listing mean the treatment is approved or proven to work?

No. A listing means the study is registered. It does not show that the treatment is safe, works, or is approved by a regulator.

How often is this information updated?

AzTrials copies changed records from ClinicalTrials.gov every night and reloads the whole registry every week. The sponsor last updated this record on 22 Sep 2026.
