What is being measured

The primary outcome is the main question the study is designed to answer.

  1. Proportion of participants with HDV RNA below LLOQ with TND or a decrease of ≥ 2 log10 from baseline, and ALT normalization at Week 48 of the treatment period

Proportion of participants with HDV RNA below Lower Limit of Quantification (LLOQ) with target not detected (TND) or a decrease of ≥ 2 log10 from baseline, and ALT normalization at Week 48 of the treatment period

    Measured: Week 48

Secondary outcomes (11)
  1. Proportion of participants with HDV RNA below LLOQ or a decrease of ≥ 2 log10 from baseline, and ALT normalization

    Measured: up to week 96

  2. Proportion of participants with HDV RNA below LLOQ or a decrease of ≥ 2 log10 from baseline

    Measured: up to week 96

  3. Proportion of participants with plasma HDV RNA achieving HDV RNA < LLOQ

    Measured: up to week 96

  4. Proportion of participants with ALT normalization

    Measured: up to week 96

  5. Change from baseline in liver stiffness measurement (LSM)

    Measured: up to week 96

  6. Change from baseline in plasma HDV RNA levels at different time points

    Measured: up to week 96

  7. Change from baseline in Model for End-Stage Liver Disease (MELD) score at different time points

    Measured: up to week 96

  8. Change from baseline in Child-Pugh score at different time points during the treatment period, extended treatment period and follow-up period. (A higher Child-Pugh score indicates poorer liver function, more severe disease, and a worse prognosis)

    Measured: up to week 96

  9. Liver related clinical events

    Measured: up to week 120

  10. Percentage of participants with treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs)

    Measured: up to week 120

  11. Ctrough,ss

    Steady-state trough concentration of libevitug

    Measured: up to week 96

Questions about this trial

What is this clinical trial studying?

A Phase 3 study testing Libevitug 20 mg/kg, Libevitug 10 mg/kg and Delayed treatment with libevitug in people with Chronic Hepatitis D Infection, run by Huahui Health at 7 sites in 3 countries.

The full registered description is in the About this study section and the official record.

Who may be eligible to take part?

The sponsor lists 5 inclusion and 7 exclusion criteria. Eligibility is decided by the study team after screening, so read the full criteria and contact a listed site.

Is this clinical trial currently recruiting?

The record says: looking for participants now, as of the sponsor's last update on 24 Aug 2026. Status can change between updates, so confirm with the study contact before making plans.

Where is the study taking place?

The record lists 7 sites in China, Pakistan, United States. Whether a site is taking part right now should be confirmed with that site. See every site.

What are the possible benefits and risks?

They depend on the study and the treatment, and no study can promise a benefit. The study team explains the known risks during informed consent, before anyone joins; the record itself does not list them.

What does this phase mean?

Phase 3 studies compare the treatment with the current standard treatment or a placebo in a large group, to confirm how well it works and watch for side effects.

Not every study follows the same path, and some studies (observational studies, device studies) have no phase.

Are results available for this study?

This study is still under way. Results are not available in the source record yet.

How can a doctor refer a patient or contact the research team?

Contact Jiaying Wen PM (+86 13552466248, wenjiaying@hhhbio.com), or a site near the patient. AzTrials does not enrol participants or take referrals.

What does the primary outcome measure?

Proportion of participants with HDV RNA below LLOQ with TND or a decrease of ≥ 2 log10 from baseline, and ALT normalization at Week 48 of the treatment period (time frame: Week 48). It is what the study was designed to measure, not a finding.

Where can I read the original study information?
Does a listing mean the treatment is approved or proven to work?

No. A listing means the study is registered. It does not show that the treatment is safe, works, or is approved by a regulator.

How often is this information updated?

AzTrials copies changed records from ClinicalTrials.gov every night and reloads the whole registry every week. The sponsor last updated this record on 24 Aug 2026.
