What is being measured

The primary outcome is the main question the study is designed to answer.

  1. Change from Baseline in serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels.

Measured: Baseline and at Week 12.

  2. Proportion of participants with ≥2 g/dL increase in hemoglobin level from Baseline in the absence of transfusion.

Measured: Baseline and at Week 24.

Secondary outcomes (11)
  1. Proportion of participants with ≥2 g/dL increase in hemoglobin level from Baseline in the absence of transfusion.

Measured: Baseline and at Week 12 and 48

  2. Proportion of participants who are transfusion-free.

Measured: Baseline to Week 12, 24 and 48

  3. Change from Baseline in the number of red blood cell (RBC) transfusions.

Measured: Baseline to Week 24 and 48.

  4. Change from Baseline in hemoglobin levels.

    Measured: Baseline, Week 12, 24 and 48

  5. Proportion of participants achieving hemoglobin levels ≥100 g/L in the absence of transfusion.

    Measured: Baseline, Week 12, 24 and 48

  6. Proportion of participants with LDH levels normalized.

    Measured: Baseline, Week 12, 24 and 48

  7. Changes in serum complement hemolytic activity.

Measured: Observation from Predose on Day 1 through 337 days post-administration.

  8. Change From Baseline in Fatigue as Measured by Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy - Fatigue (FACIT-F)

FACIT-F is a 40-item measure that assesses self-reported fatigue and its impact upon daily activities and function. The higher the score, the better the QOL.

Measured: Baseline and at Week 12, 36, and 48.

  9. Percentage of Participants with Adverse Events (AEs) and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).

Measured: Baseline up to approximately 13 months.

  10. Serum concentrations of LP-005.

Measured: Observation from Predose on Day 1 through 337 days post-administration.

  11. Number of Participants with Treatment-emergent Anti-Drug Antibodies (ADA) and neutralizing antibodies (Nab) Response to LP-005.

Measured: Observation from Predose on Day 1 through 337 days post-administration.

Questions about this trial

What is this clinical trial studying?

A Phase 2 study testing LP-005 Injection in people with PNH - Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria, run by Longbio Pharma at 1 site in China.

The full registered description is in the About this study section and the official record.

Who may be eligible to take part?

The sponsor lists 5 inclusion and 7 exclusion criteria. Eligibility is decided by the study team after screening, so read the full criteria and contact a listed site.

Is this clinical trial currently recruiting?

The record says: under way, not looking for participants, as of the sponsor's last update on 16 Jan 2026. Status can change between updates, so confirm with the study contact before making plans.

Where is the study taking place?

The record lists 1 site in China. Whether a site is taking part right now should be confirmed with that site. See every site.

What are the possible benefits and risks?

They depend on the study and the treatment, and no study can promise a benefit. The study team explains the known risks during informed consent, before anyone joins; the record itself does not list them.

What does this phase mean?

Phase 2 studies give the treatment to a larger group to see whether it has the intended effect and to keep checking safety.

Not every study follows the same path, and some studies (observational studies, device studies) have no phase.

Are results available for this study?

This study is still under way. Results are not available in the source record yet.

How can a doctor refer a patient or contact the research team?

The record lists no contact. The official record names the sponsor, who can be asked directly. AzTrials does not enrol participants or take referrals.

What does the primary outcome measure?

Change from Baseline in serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels. (time frame: Baseline and at Week 12.). The study lists 2 primary outcomes in all. It is what the study was designed to measure, not a finding.

Where can I read the original study information?
Does a listing mean the treatment is approved or proven to work?

No. A listing means the study is registered. It does not show that the treatment is safe, works, or is approved by a regulator.

How often is this information updated?

AzTrials copies changed records from ClinicalTrials.gov every night and reloads the whole registry every week. The sponsor last updated this record on 16 Jan 2026.
