Study groups in NCT07127926
Study groupRoleWhat they receive
BelumosudilExperimentalOn Days 0 to 7, you will: • Take whole belumosudil tablet by mouth 1 time a day at same time of the day. On Day 7, you will then have your 1st pharmacokinetic visit at MD Anderson: • Blood samples (about 1 teaspoon) will be collected before dosing, and 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, and 24 hours after belumosudil dosing. On Days 8 to 14, you will: • Take crushed belumosudil tablet by mouth 1 time a day at same time of the day. On Day 14, you will then have your 2nd pharmacokinetic visit to MD Anderson: • Blood samples (about 1 teaspoon) will be collected before dosing, and 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, and 24 hours after belumosudil dosing.
Receives: Drug: Belumosudil

What is being measured

The primary outcome is the main question the study is designed to answer.

  1. Safety and adverse events (AEs

Intra patient change in pharmacokinetic parameters will be determined. In addition, it will be evaluated whether crushing the tablet would have clinically significant change in AUC or Cmax, Tmax, which might impact efficacy or safety of belumosudil based on prior belumosudil pharmacokinetic studies. Due to small number of patients in this study, we don't plan to evaluate the impact of crushed belumosudil tablets pharmacokinetics with long-term outcomes.

Measured: Through study completion; an average of 1 year

Questions about this trial

What is this clinical trial studying?

A Phase 1 study testing Belumosudil in people with Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease, run by M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at 1 site in United States.

The full registered description is in the About this study section and the official record.

Who may be eligible to take part?

The sponsor lists 1 inclusion and 2 exclusion criteria. Eligibility is decided by the study team after screening, so read the full criteria and contact a listed site.

Is this clinical trial currently recruiting?

The record says: looking for participants now, as of the sponsor's last update on 27 Aug 2026. Status can change between updates, so confirm with the study contact before making plans.

Where is the study taking place?

The record lists 1 site in United States. Whether a site is taking part right now should be confirmed with that site. See every site.

What are the possible benefits and risks?

They depend on the study and the treatment, and no study can promise a benefit. The study team explains the known risks during informed consent, before anyone joins; the record itself does not list them.

What does this phase mean?

Phase 1 studies test a treatment in a small group of people for the first time or in a new way, mainly to check safety and find the right dose.

Not every study follows the same path, and some studies (observational studies, device studies) have no phase.

Are results available for this study?

This study is still under way. Results are not available in the source record yet.

How can a doctor refer a patient or contact the research team?

Contact Amin Alousi, MD ((713) 745-8613, aalousi@mdanderson.org), or a site near the patient. AzTrials does not enrol participants or take referrals.

What does the primary outcome measure?

Safety and adverse events (AEs (time frame: Through study completion; an average of 1 year). It is what the study was designed to measure, not a finding.

Where can I read the original study information?
Does a listing mean the treatment is approved or proven to work?

No. A listing means the study is registered. It does not show that the treatment is safe, works, or is approved by a regulator.

How often is this information updated?

AzTrials copies changed records from ClinicalTrials.gov every night and reloads the whole registry every week. The sponsor last updated this record on 27 Aug 2026.
