About this study

Official title: RACE-2L: Real-World Assessment of Clinical Practice and Outcomes in Non-squamous Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer After Failure of Platinum-based Chemotherapy in Brazil

The study will be implemented as a retrospective, noninterventional medical record review of patients from routine practice settings who have been diagnosed with a/m non-squamous NSCLC with or without AGA and received at least 1 line of systemic treatment after failing PTC between January 2017 and December 2024.

Read the detailed description

The study will be implemented as a retrospective, noninterventional medical record review of patients from routine practice settings who have been diagnosed with advanced/metastaic non-squamous NSCLC with or without AGA and who have failed platinum-based chemotherapy and immunotherapy (for patients without AGA) or platinum-based chemotherapy and at least 1 line of targeted therapy (for patients with AGA). The study will be conducted on one cohort of patients regardless their AGA status. The study index date will be defined as first dose of any agent after PTC, with specific treatments received for AGA and non-AGA patients in the preindex period. We will also conduct a subgroup analysis on NSCLC pre-defined subtypes (sample size permitting): EGFR mutant, ALK translocation, ROS1 translocation, MET1 mutant, HER-2 mutant, BRAF mutant, pan-wild-type PD-L1 >50%.

Questions about this trial

What is this clinical trial studying?

An observational study of Non-squamous Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, run by AstraZeneca at 11 sites in Brazil.

The full registered description is in the About this study section and the official record.

Who may be eligible to take part?

The sponsor lists 10 inclusion and 2 exclusion criteria. Eligibility is decided by the study team after screening, so read the full criteria and contact a listed site.

The record says: looking for participants now, as of the sponsor's last update on 23 Sep 2026. Status can change between updates, so confirm with the study contact before making plans.

Where is the study taking place?

The record lists 11 sites in Brazil. Whether a site is taking part right now should be confirmed with that site. See every site.

What are the possible benefits and risks?

They depend on the study and the treatment, and no study can promise a benefit. The study team explains the known risks during informed consent, before anyone joins; the record itself does not list them.

Are results available for this study?

This study is still under way. Results are not available in the source record yet.

How can a doctor refer a patient or contact the research team?

Contact AstraZeneca Clinical Study Information Center (1-877-240-9479, information.center@astrazeneca.com), or a site near the patient. AzTrials does not enrol participants or take referrals.

What does the primary outcome measure?

Describe the patient population and treatment patterns (time frame: between January 1st 2017 and December 31th 2024). The study lists 15 primary outcomes in all. It is what the study was designed to measure, not a finding.

Where can I read the original study information?
Does a listing mean the treatment is approved or proven to work?

No. A listing means the study is registered. It does not show that the treatment is safe, works, or is approved by a regulator.

How often is this information updated?

AzTrials copies changed records from ClinicalTrials.gov every night and reloads the whole registry every week. The sponsor last updated this record on 23 Sep 2026.
